World Peace was always on the top of everyone’s list. But what’s happen to it now? Trends change in and out quickly, but this trend is different. This trend has been in for a long time and will continue to be. The latest trend is, terrorism. With the recent attack in Norway on July 22, 2011 and the unforgettable attack of the World Trace Center on September 11, 2001, the statement above is proven to be right. But those aren’t the only attacks. There have been numerous terrorist attacks all over the world for many years, but there is no a set definition. Merriam Webster’s definition states that terrorism is, “ the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.” While the U.S. Department of States defines terrorism to be, “premeditated politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.” With the 9/11 attack nearing it's 10th anniversary and the Norway attack this summer, we chose to do a special edition about terrorism. There are a few terrorist groups we chose to show the dangers of terrorism and how terrorism varies for different groups, both domestic and international.  One of them being, Al-Qaeda. Recently their leader, Osama bin Laden's has been brought down. Former president, George W. Bush stated, "Our war on terror begins with Al Qaeda, but it doesn't end there," Terrorism will continue to be the trend until every group is stopped and this special edition will bring to you the truth of terrorism.
